Bruce Melanson (June 11, 1966 – January 4, 1985) was a Canadian ice hockey right winger. He was selected by the New York Islanders in the 2nd round (41st overall) of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft, however he did not play for the team.

On January 4, 1985, Melanson collapsed and died from a heart ailment known as Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome which resulted in him having a rapid heartbeat because of electrical impulses in the heart taking extra pathways.
